HO scale modeling is one of the more popular scales, however there exists a need to further sub-divide this popular scale! Here are some of the proposed divisions of HO scale modelers to further define them for the neophytes.

HOa (Anything goes)
HObo (Brass Only)
HOc (Collectors)
HOcl (Closet Modelers)
HOd (Diesels)
HOe (Electrics)
HOf (Finescale)
HOg (Garden Scale)
HOk (Kitbuilders)
HOn (N scale track)
HOo (Oddballs)
HOpr (Prototype)
HOpl (Plastic)
HOr (Resin)
HOs (Steam only)
HOsd (Super detailers)
HOtl (Talk-list only)
HOu (Unecorated or Undecided)essentially the same

Many of these could be further subdivided with the end result being very little discussion of the merits of each.

Who would want to belong to any group where everyone agreed???
